Captain Freushausen

Another character without all of those controlling, constraining lines.  I've really been enjoying playing around in this style.  It's nice to mix it up from time to time.

King of the Sea

A little sketch from this morning that turned into a full blown illustration.  I tried something a little different this time around, in regards to my usual way of inking and coloring.  I nixed the constraining lines and only used the pencil tools in Manga Studio for the shading and highlights.  It was a fun way to work that I think I'll revisit again soon.

A Cold Heart, a Warm Hand

"I failed you. I wish there were another way for me to say it. I cannot. I can only beg your forgiveness, and pray you hear me somehow, someplace... someplace where a warm hand waits for mine." -Mr. Freeze from "Heart of Ice." Written by Paul Dini

Both Sides of the Coin

Check out my first post on Moviepilot. In it, I do a step-by-step breakdown of how I created my Two-Face illustration.

Rocket Raccoon

"Can you believe they call us criminals when he's assaulting us with that haircut?"  -Rocket Raccoon
Finally finished the colors on Rocket.  I had so much fun drawing this feisty little Raccoon.

Inks of "The Mechanic"

This originally started as a completely different concept.  However, once I started getting the pose down for Tony Stark (Iron Man) the illustration slowly started to morph into something else entirely.  I was really happy with how the inks turned out on this so I’m posting it up before I start coloring.
