Captain Freushausen

Another character without all of those controlling, constraining lines.  I've really been enjoying playing around in this style.  It's nice to mix it up from time to time.

King of the Sea

A little sketch from this morning that turned into a full blown illustration.  I tried something a little different this time around, in regards to my usual way of inking and coloring.  I nixed the constraining lines and only used the pencil tools in Manga Studio for the shading and highlights.  It was a fun way to work that I think I'll revisit again soon.

A Cold Heart, a Warm Hand

"I failed you. I wish there were another way for me to say it. I cannot. I can only beg your forgiveness, and pray you hear me somehow, someplace... someplace where a warm hand waits for mine." -Mr. Freeze from "Heart of Ice." Written by Paul Dini

Inks of "The Mechanic"

This originally started as a completely different concept.  However, once I started getting the pose down for Tony Stark (Iron Man) the illustration slowly started to morph into something else entirely.  I was really happy with how the inks turned out on this so I’m posting it up before I start coloring.

By Thy Side

I finally finished this Tellos passion project of mine.  Here are all of my mock character sheets for the animated Tellos film that I would love to see some day.
If you’re not familiar with Todd Dezago and Mike Wieringo’s “Tellos” then I highly suggest that you give it a read.  It’s a great story, filled with colorful characters, adventure, and action all rolled into a wonderful fantasy universe.

Koj

Another mock "Tellos" character sheet.  Tonight's character: Koj.  I've been posting these character sheets to the Fans of Tellos Facebook page.  If you're a fan of Tellos, interested in reading Tellos, or just like the character pages that I'm doing then head over to the fan page and show your support by giving it a "like."  A bunch of the creators are even on there and will even stop by from time-to-time to post and comment.

Strong Link

One of my favorite games from my childhood was “The Legend of Zelda.”  It still kind of blows my mind that such an expansive game could fit inside one of those gray Nintendo cartridges.
