Pumpkins Pumpkins Everywhere!

These are the decorations for the Halloween event at my work.  They are all made out of cardboard.  I drew the pictures and then had my students paint them, then I put in the details and cut them out.  I really like how they turned out and it was fun getting to do a project like this with the students again.  This project brought back some very fond memories of my days back at the youth home, working until all hours of the night painting backdrops and decorations.

The Boy Who Lived!

I have been reading the Harry Potter books, they are very very good.  I just wish I had more time for reading these books, unfortunately school really gets in the way of that!  It's all good though, I also really want a degree!!!!!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!

The More I post...

...the more practice I get, and that is something that I really need right now.  Plus I have set a little personal goal of posting more posts this year than I did the year I started this blog.  It won't be hard to beat the measly one post of 2008!

A very fuzzy snowman

Hanson was transformed into the legendary creature while he was using a cursed picture to search for the actual Abominable Snowman. That is the description of this Marvel comics character from Wikipedia. I had never heard of this character before but I decided to draw my take on him! I have been sick the last few days and have been laid up, so I added a bit of color to this on my laptop. Not easy coloring on a laptop track pad!

Hi there...

I like to think of Bizarro as more of a misunderstood Frankenstien's Monster type character.  Of course I would love to color this and put a background in, but I really have been pinched for time lately, so a drawing without color it must be!!!

Why can't we be friends?

I started coloring this, but with school right now I don't know when I will get a chance to finish coloring it.  But I was really happy with how the drawing came out so I thought I would post it regardless of it not being colored.  I have really been having a good time lately just coloring over my final pencils and not inking at all!  Weeeeelllll, there you have it.
